FASLINE EDGE
The Lamina FASLINE Edge is Lamina’stop-of-the-range high-speed, high-capacity, fully AUTO sheet-to-sheetlaminating machine. This unique production line has the capability to producethe two standard registrations; On-The-Fly (overlap) and Edge-To-Edge, adjustableat the touch of a button and with consistently high precision registration (upto ± 0.2mm).
The high-capacitytop feeder facilitates the loading of palleted material(s) directly into thefeeder unit and, coupled with the servo-controlled fully AUTO non-stop bottomfeeder, maximizes production output. This production line is more than capableof running a multitude of materials on the market today including multi-plycarton/cardboard, open-fluted corrugated, foam & hardboard, to standardpapers and substrates.
Thismachine is of modular construction and can be manufactured in a variety of differentsizes to meet customers’ needs and requirements. This 1 Operator + 1 Assistantproduction line reduces manpower establishment and costings significantly and,together with the operator-friendly touch screen display and manual adjustmentto side-lays, allows quick and easy set-up times thus reducing down-time.
A multitude of options is available tocomplement high-profile machine. The Main machines pre-installed hardware &software allows for the connection of additional units by simple ‘Plug &Play’. In addition, pre-installed Lamina 4.0 (fully integrated Industry 4.0)enables the end-user to connect and check the machine status and productionstatistics directly via your mobile device or web browser.

Automatic substrate sheet feeder
For automatic feeding of the bottom sheet.The sheets are fed by continuous running belts with vacuum and the stack is filled from the top.The feeder is designed to handle materials with a thickness from 0.6 mm up to 10 mm.
Automatic high capacity topsheet feeder
For automatic stream feeding of top sheets. A series of suction cupspick up the top sheet from the stack and transport it to the top sheetconveyor. The feeder is designed to handle materials 150-450 gm/m2.
Precision gluing unit
The gluing units for accurate applicationof cold PVA glue to the upper surface of the substrates are equipped withautomatic glue dispenser directly connected to the glue container. The glue isautomatically kept under control by a sensor and the glue unit is fully accessible during all modes ofproduction and for glue removal. During machine standstill, the rotationspeed of the rollers is reduced to a low idling speed.
Laminating station
Here the operator can choose between Edge-to-Edge orOn-the-Fly registration

In the Edge-to Edge station, the top andbottom sheets are automatically controlled by the registration system.
The sheets are registered automatically atthe lead edge as well as at the operator side, resulting in a registration accuracyof less than ± 0.2mm. An integrated photocellsystem prevents the lamination process unless both sheets are properlypositioned.
Registration Press Station
This unit consists of an adjustable pressroller system ensuring theperfect finish of thefinal product.
Delivery Table
For the stacking of the finished product to pallet.
PLC Control system
The Lamina PLC control system consists of a Touch Screen monitor,continuous display of operating status, display of set up procedures formachine functions, activation of controlled machine functions and completediagnostic screen with visual alarm.
